The Granville Area Chamber of Commerce exists to advance the prosperity of the Granville area, to promote the commercial interests of the business community, to support civic, cultural and educational pursuits, and to bring about closer cooperation among those engaged in retail trade, manufacturing, farming, services, and professional practice, and to secure concerted action on their part to improve the environment of business.

We are honored to have receive the Green Glove Award from the Slate Valley Garden Club! We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Abigail Armstrong for her beautiful work in the flower bed along with all of her helpers. Thank you to Denise Davies (our Chamber recording secretary) for her work on the gorgeous flower boxes! Help nominate a deserving Washington County Business today! The nomination deadline for the Washington County Business Awards is fast approaching! If you know of an outstanding Washington County business, who is also an active ARCC member, please nominate them today. Nomination form can be found on the ARCC website: https://www.adirondackchamber.org/events/details/2018-washington-county-business-awards-celebration-3458 Nomination deadline is Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The winners and nominees will be honored at a celebratory luncheon on Thursday, October 25th at the Whitehall Athletic Club, hosted by the ARCC and Washington County LDC.

Where is Granville, NY ?

Granville is located midway between Lake George, NY and Manchester, VT, in beautiful Washington County.

The Granville Area is known to New York State Tourism as the "Capital/Saratoga District," to some as "The Colored Slate Capital of the World," and to others as a part of the "Lakes Region." Located in rural upstate New York on the Vermont border, we offer an area rich in natural history. Granville is bordered by Vermont to the east, Hampton and Whitehall to the north, Hebron to the south, and Hartford and Fort Ann to the west.
